چکیده

The beams are frequently utilized in construction as well the fabrication of vehicles like trains, ships, and airplanes. Depending on necessary working circumstances, several materials may have been production these beams, from high fatigue resistance, corrosion strong earthquake other aspects. As a result, composite made glass or carbon fibers increasingly commonly employed. This is result its collapse light weight, stress resistance. In order to compare models' resistance deformations, stresses, strains that they exposed during loading, this article focuses constructing variety models using shapes. outcomes demonstrate rise rate deformation. against with linear shapes those non-linear Additionally, findings an increase stresses regions curves (i.e., areas nonlinear).

Free Vibration Analysis of Functionally Graded Materials Non-uniform Beams

In this article, nonuniformity effects on free vibration analysis of functionally graded beams is discussed. variation in material properties is modeled after Powerlaw and exponential models and the non-uniformity is assumed to be exponentially varying in the width along the beams with constant thickness. Analytical solution is achieved for free vibration with simply supported conditions. It is...

Non Linear Finite Element Analysis of Reinforced and Unreinforeced Pavements

In this research a comprehensive finite element program was developed in order to carry out an elasto perfectly plastic analysis of geogrid reinforcement of a model pavement. Qualitative agreement is seen between the numerical results and experiment. The results indicate the influence of geogrid in reduction of vertical deformation of pavements. It is also seen that for strong subgrade, the opt...

A Mathematical Model for Analysis of Upright Perforated Wave Absorbers

On the basis of the continuity equation and the Bernoulli equation in the steady form, a differential equation is developed to evaluate the successive water levels within compartments of an upright perforated wave absorber. Then the initial and boundary conditions are introduced and the differential equation is solved as an initial value problem. Finally the reflection coefficient from the wave...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Mathematical Model of Unsteady Groundwater Flow Through Aquifers and Calibration Via a Non-Linear Optimization Technique

In this study, the general partial differential equation of unsteady groundwater flow through non-homogeneous and anisotropic aquifer was solved by the fully implicit finite difference method with control volume approach. The calibration of permeability and storage coefficients as model parameters was performed by a transformation technique and application of Powell's non-linear optimization me...
